While we’re showing our love for Singapore this August, now’s a great time to combine it with our passion for food. Several local F&B enterprises are offering discounts, deals and special menus throughout this whole month, in a bid to encourage support for local social enterprises.
The campaign, called DineForGood, includes deals across different restaurants and eateries. Some promotions include:
– A complimentary glass of wine with any steak purchase at Bliss Restaurant & Café at Chengsan Community Club
– 1-for-1 offer on Eighteen Chefs’ Black Beauty at the Bedok Mall outlet
– Free ice cream add-on with any one of Professor Brawn’s main dishes
– 10% off all cupcakes at the Ugly Cake Shop café
A full list of the promotions can be found here. To redeem them, simply download the relevant coupons from www.festivalforgood.sg and present them at the point of purchase.
The campaign will culminate in a special culinary highlight on 20-21 Aug called FestivalForGood. On 20 Aug, Timbre+ chefs and social enterprise Edible Garden City will serve a range of unique dishes featuring produce from local farms.
Here, you can support local food production by feasting on the following dishes crafted exclusively for the festival, including Grilled Ribeye Beef with Ulam Rajah, Black Miso Tuna and Lime Leaf Chicken.
A limited number of plates will be available, so pre-order these dishes (and enjoy $2 off each dish!) at ediblegardencityxtimbre.peatix.com.
On 21 Aug, the festival will gather more than 40 social enterprises for a weekend of fun-filled activities for all ages including a pop-up market, workshops, live performances and learning journeys.
DineForGood discounts are available for the whole month of August. The FestivalForGood is happening on 20-21 Aug. More information here.
