Many organisations are hosting events, workshops and more to raise environmental awareness ahead of Earth Day. A few have already begun! 4. “Packaging Matters: Singapore’s Food Packaging Story from the Early 20th Century” Exhibition

How have our food packaging practices changed to become more sustainable? Find out as you go on a journey through Singapore’s fascinating food packaging history, at the National Museum of Singapore’s new exhibition – Packaging Matters: Singapore’s Food Packaging Story from the Early 20th Century. Opening on 6 April, the exhibition will feature familiar and popular food products that different generations of Singaporeans have enjoyed. They tell the story of how packing designs and technologies have developed, and highlights how a lot more can be improved towards a more eco-friendly and sustainable future. The experience also gets interactive with a bunch of hands-on activities that both kids and adults will love, as well as more green games.
