Have you always wanted to be a local tourist and explore our country’s offshore islands, but weren’t sure where to begin? Here’s a good chance for you to take the first step out into the wild and rediscover Singaore’s natural side.
Popular Chinese restaurant Gu Ma Jia is organising a special tour for families to explore Pulau Ubin with the face of Gu Ma Jia herself. On 26 Nov, join the lovable Gu Ma as she takes you down memory lane and shares about her childhood haunts as well as the inspiration for some of her recipes.
The tour from 8am will include breakfast and lunch at Gu Ma Jia, transport to and from Gu Ma Jia, refreshments, goodie bags and a lucky draw. Adult tickets are priced at $49.90 and children (10 years and below) at $39.90 each.

From as young as seven years old, Gu Ma experimented with cooking to feed her family. While growing up in Pulau Ubin, where she was surrounded by an abundance of seafood, and Gu Ma would handpick the fresh seafood for her meals. One of her favourites to collect were oysters stuck along a bridge at Gu Ma’s home back then.
