14. A Springtime Rhapsody at Jurong Point

This one’s for you, Westies! Jurong Point is ringing in the Chinese New Year with plenty of auspicious festivities, some of them already going on now! Snap a family photo at the gorgeous purple pavilion outside JP2 Main Entrance, and be there on 2 and 3 February to get the blessings of the roving God of Fortune mascot. We enjoy Yu Sheng every Chinese New Year, but do you know how to make your own platter? With some minimum shopping requirements, you can learn to make one in the shape of a pig, at a workshop on 3 February, by celebrity food artist, Shirley Wong (a.k.a Little Miss Bento). After the holidays have come and gone, if you’re still feeling the festive spirit, head down to the JP2 Main Entrance again on 13 February and keep the good fortune coming with a traditional lion dance show.
