It’s been nearly 20 years since Britney Spears first set foot on our sunny shores, and now, she’s back with a full-fledged concert.
After months of eager anticipation, IME has confirmed through a Facebook post that the pop singer’s slated to perform here on 30 Jun.
Fresh out of her Las Vegas residency, Britney will be bringing her show “Piece of Me” all over the globe as a world tour.
Fans can expect to hear her latest hits in addition to crowd favorites, accompanied with slick dance moves and sparkly, lavish costumes. This will be Britney’s first public appearance here as her previous showcase in 1998 was held behind closed doors.
Spears was one of the reigning pop artists in the late 1990s to 2000s, with hits like “Oops I Did It Again”, “Toxic” and “Baby One More Time” under her belt.
Other stops in Asia for the world tour include Japan, Philippines, Thailand and Hong Kong.
