Hurrah, the summer holidays are here! It's time to take that well-deserved break, and we don't mean just for kids and teenagers; parents, take this opportunity to hang out with the whole family. There are lots of fun family-friendly things to do around the city this June that combine playing and learning, and some of them have started already. 8. Discover dinosaurs at DinoQuest
Ever wanted to be a paleontologist? Science Centre’s new exhibition DinoQuest helps you realise your dream by taking you on an immersive dinosaur expedition. Running from 1 June to 31 August, the exhibition highlights the lesser known polar dinosaurs from Australia that were discovered at Dinosaur Cove by renowned paleontologist Dr Patricia Vickers-Rich, who also curated DinoQuest! Learn about the unique qualities of the polar dinosaurs through advanced multimedia technology, fossil specimens and reconstructions, and lots of cool hands-on activities, including drilling an actual rock from the dig site!
