9 Pet Cafes In Asia You Should Totally Check Out

It's a whole new petting world out there filled with exotic animals!

Animal cafes are popping up all over, and it's not just a trend on our little red dot. All over the world, city dwellers who can't afford to own a pet for various reasons (lack of space, economic concerns...) are finding it easier to head to the nearest pet cafe and sayang their favourite animal. All the cuddly cuteness and love, without the responsibility and stress of having to care for a living creature.

We round up some of the best (and increasingly peculiar) pet cafes around Asia so you can pet to your heart's content the next time you find yourself in these cities.

6. Owl no Mori

All the owls living here in Ow no Mori (Japanese for Forest of Owls) are captive bred. In laymen terms, it means that they have been raised by humans from young, making them very accustomed to interactions with people. The trained owls will even perch on your wrists for photos. Just remember to put on the mittens provided! Entrance comes with one free drink.
