If you think Singapore’s all skyscrapers and shopping complexes, you haven’t explored the city through our best running routes yet. A light jog past our iconic landmarks and lush greenery, and you’ll discover what you’ve been missing cooping yourself up in a gym on the treadmill. Make a date with your running buddies to get outdoors and try these beautiful routes.
1. Marina Bay
Distance: 4-5km looping around Marina Bay, or about 10km if you extend your run to Marina Barrage.
Get the best of both Singapore’s urban and natural worlds while jogging around Marina Bay! Start at the Helix Bridge, where you’ll join lots of daily runners, and enjoy the views of our nation’s most iconic skyline and landmarks – the Marina Bay Sands, the Esplanade, the Merlion, the bustling financial district, and more – as you circle the waterfront back to the bridge. For a greater challenge, double your running distance by continuing straight past the Financial Centre and around the beautiful Gardens the the Bay and the Marina Barrage, before heading back.
