Wish you can attend the famous Comic-Con held in the States?
We feel you. But don’t despair, because we’ve got our own pop culture convention happening right here in Singapore!
Taking place on 8 and 9 September at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre, the annual Singapore Toy, Game and Comic Convention (STGCC) will make its return for an action-packed weekend to celebrate pop culture and basically all things geeky. While we’re still expecting more updates and announcements, what we know so far about this year’s installment is that the lineup is set to be bigger and more exciting than ever!
Here are six things we’re most looking forward to at the pop culture extravaganza:
7. Exclusive merchandise including Tokidoki
No pop culture convention is complete without exclusive convention merchandise! Everyone will be walking away with some amazing swag this year because STGCC is giving all attendees a special STGCC x Heroes merchandise collection featuring a T-shirt, posters, sticker packs and lanyards. Those who want more can purchase the VIP Loot Pack, which comes with early access to the convention, VIP access to the popular Walk of Fame festivities, and a bunch of merchandise, including a VIP tokidoki x STGCC sports towel.
That’s right, STGCC is collaborating with Tokidoki to make the merchandise cuter this year! The details are still yet to be announced, but you can take a peek at some of the released designs and other available merchandise online.
