The Mid-Autumn Festival is soon upon us, and when you're not busy lighting up lanterns or gorging on delicious mooncakes, there are numerous other interesting activities you can check out.

Here are six unique things to do at Mid-Autumn events around town this year.

3. Tea appreciation

When: 10-11 Sep
Where: Festival Corner, Esplanade
Cost: Free

Be immersed into the old world of a tea house, where you can learn about the different types of Chinese tea and the art of brewing and drinking from one of the oldest tea merchants in Singapore.

Do note that each pot of tea at the event will cost $5.
