The Mid-Autumn Festival is soon upon us, and when you're not busy lighting up lanterns or gorging on delicious mooncakes, there are numerous other interesting activities you can check out.

Here are six unique things to do at Mid-Autumn events around town this year.

2. Street opera stage backstage tour

When: 10-11 Sep
Where: The Edge, Esplanade
Cost: Free

Go behind the curtains into the colourful world of Chinese street opera in this eye-opening backstage tour, hosted by local artiste Nick Shen.

The first day’s session is conducted in English, and the second day’s in Mandarin. Limited places are available. Registration is required before 5 Sep and slots will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. Each application can register a maximum of two participants.
