With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month globally, there are many ways for you to give to great causes that support survivors and work to find a cure. At the same time, get educated on breast cancer, screenings and treatments at the various awareness and fund-raising events held across Singapore. And don’t forget to wear pink!

4. Breast Cancer & Reconstruction: Your Questions Answered Symposium

Have all your questions about breast cancer answered by experts at this symposium organised by the Breast Reconstruction Awareness Singapore. Head over to Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital on 27 October, from 9:30am to 1pm, to learn all the basics about breast cancer, and all the latest treatment and reconstructive options out there. Oncologists, surgeons, nurses, and a breast cancer survivor, will all be speaking and offering comprehensive information about the disease. The talk is great for anyone who works with breast cancer patients, as well as anyone in the public who wishes to learn more about breast cancer and its treatment options. Registration is complimentary, and lunch and goodie bags will be provided.
