Singapore has just gotten a giant 81ha-large nature park - the largest one here to date - and it's an exciting place to spend a weekend.
Chestnut Nature Park is located on the eastern end of Chestnut Avenue, right beside the Central Catchment Nature Reserve.

4. You can go bird- and creature-spotting too
Along the hiking trail, you might be lucky enough to spot globally threatened species such as the Straw-headed Bulbul and the Brown-chested Jungle Flycatcher, as well as species such as the Banded Woodpecker, Orange-bellied Flowerpecker and Little Spiderhunter.
