Singapore has just gotten a giant 81ha-large nature park - the largest one here to date - and it's an exciting place to spend a weekend.
Chestnut Nature Park is located on the eastern end of Chestnut Avenue, right beside the Central Catchment Nature Reserve.

3. You can hike and mountain bike here
Chestnut Nature Park is the first nature park in Singapore to have separate mountain biking and hiking trails. In the southern portion, the former is 1.6km long, and the latter is 2.1km long.
With the completion of the northern portion, the entire park now has 6km and 5km of mountain biking and hiking trails respectively. They are split into different difficulty levels, with one “Extremely Difficult” trail named “Over the Moon”. Be careful, bikers!
