3. Chilli Padi’s Laksa Pao Fan
Singapore’s first Laksa Pao Fan (poached rice) ($68) is here for National Day. This latest creation from Chilli Padi’s founder, Patricia Lee, brings together two local favourites, Laksa and ‘Pao Fan’.
Each set consists of steamed white rice, whole prawns, battered fish fillets, pacific clams, and seafood bean curd rolls (surimi wrapped in bean curd skin) simmering in Chilli Padi’s special house-made Lemak laksa broth, topped with ‘Daun Kesum’ (Vietnamese coriander), egg floss and rice crisps.
