National Gallery Singapore presents Children’s Festival: Small Big Dreamers this June, and aims to inspire visitors both young and old to imagine and re-imagine the world around them through experiential art and active play.

This year’s edition of the festival introduces visitors to Lee Wen, one of Singapore’s pioneer performance artists and a Cultural Medallion award recipient, through a special commission, A Waking Dream: Sun-boy and Yellow Man, that is inspired by his life and practice.

Running from 9 June to 9 September. the festival will complement the Gallery Children’s Biennale, which was first launched by National Gallery Singapore in 2017, as part of its continued engagement to inspire young, curious minds through art.
