7. Châteraisé and Yatsudoki Host 2023’s Biggest Japanese Melon Fair 

Châteraisé and its premium concept Yatsudoki are set to host this year’s most enormous Japanese melon fair from 19 May to 30 June 2023. The fair will showcase a wide repertoire of cakes, tarts and baked goods made with Japanese melon from the Ibaraki Prefecture!

Anticipate delights like the Japanese Melon Cake (S$6) frosted with fresh cream and layered with Strawberries, the Japanese Melon Rare Cheese Cake (S$5.70) with heavenly cheese cream and mixed berry sauce, and the indulgent Japanese Melon Tart (S$6.80) featuring custard cream, sponge cake, and cheese cream on a crumbly pie crust. The exquisite Japanese Melon Whole Cake (price varies) comes in various sizes, boasting a refreshing blend of melon, strawberries, and elegant whipped cream swirls.

Yatsudoki will also unveil a series of delightful offerings. Great for tea pairing, the Japanese Melon French Cream Cheese Tart (S$49/15cm, S$8.20/individual) features a thick layer of rare cheese cream and fresh cream and is topped with blueberries and melon. Another great teatime snack will be the Japanese Melon Double Cream Puff (S$9.80) and many more!
