9. The 17th Ngee Ann Photographic Exhibition 2022
The Ngee Ann Photographic Exhibition (NAPE) attracts the participation of many shutterbugs every year, and provides an open platform for photographers of all ages and levels to showcase their works. The event will feature over 220 photographs by 145 photographers.
Among the photographs that are showcased in the exhibition is a series of 20 photographs entitled “A New Departure from the Heart” by Mr Goh Koon Peng, this year’s winner of the Ngee Ann Photographer of The Year Award. The Series features some of his works taken from 2006 to 2021, among which 10 are Singapore-based photos and another 10 landscape photos of various countries. The Series shows the different aspects of life and stories of people from all around the world as well as the intertwined connection between human beings and their living environment, evoking visual impact and spiritual reflection.
NAPE 2022 is held at LASALLE College of the Arts, from now to 19 June 2022, 12pm to 7pm daily. Admission is free and open to all members of the public.
