Located along the bustling Killiney Road, this up-and-coming restaurant serves enticing, wholesome meals in a cosy setting

The recently-opened Level2 Wine Bistro superbly marries home-style cooking with classical Western cuisine. I love the hearty yet healthy dishes here.

Since the restaurant’s opening, the menu has been refined a few times according to the feedback of regulars in the Killiney neighbourhood. How thoughtful!

Fit for the Health-conscious

Start off with the healthful Omega 3 Salad ($15)
Start off with the healthful Omega 3 Salad ($15)

The Omega 3 Salad is the best-selling salad, probably because it’s so nourishing and yummy. I am won over by the splendid mix of smoked salmon, avocado slices and salmon roe on a bed of greens.

Tender and succulent, Braised Beef Cheeks ($26) is not to be missed

The chef’s recommendation is Braised Beef Cheeks, which I find to be tender and succulent. Paired with broccoli, tomatoes and mashed potato, the dish looks as brilliant as it tastes.

Burgers with a Twist

“Su” (vegetarian) Burger ($21) is delish!
“Su” (vegetarian) Burger ($21) is delish!

The unique “Su” (Vegetarian) Burger is an excellent option for vegetarians who are tired of just salads. The Portobello mushroom patty offers a ‘meaty’ texture, and the eggplant and squash are roasted to perfection.

The Hand-craft Wagyu Beef Burger ($21) pleases the meat lovers
The Hand-craft Wagyu Beef Burger ($21) pleases the meat lovers

Meat-lovers will relish the Hand-craft Wagyu Beef Burger. The 200g beef patty is juicy and has just the right amount of bite. However, I would prefer it if shredded cheese is used instead of sliced cheese.

All-day Brunch

The substantial Energy Breakfast consists of bacon, scrambled egg and sausages. Not surprisingly, this high-protein dish can easily fill you till dinner time.

A Sweet Finish

End off with the not-too-sweet Cute Little Pancake ($12)
End off with the not-too-sweet Cute Little Pancake ($12)

Cute Little Pancake is a trio of mini-pancakes paired with caramelised banana and vanilla ice cream. The cold ice cream contrasts nicely with the warm caramelised banana. Delightful!

For those who enjoy a tipple, you’ll be glad to know that the bar is stocked with beer and specially curated wines. Aromatic coffees and artisan teas are excellent non-alcoholic options.
