Located in hip and charming Siglap, ‘Your local Izakaya bar’ IZA is a casual yet edgy Japanese-styled bar and restaurant. Giving off a nonchalant industrial vibe, the establishment is bedecked in wood furnishing and exposed light bulbs, set against a backdrop of rustic concrete walls. Night owls, especially, can look to the restaurant for late night eats and drinks as it opens all the way till 1am. Here are some of our favourite dishes when we popped by one evening:
Otah Tamago, $6.90
Otah fans would love this fusion delight of the local orange patty and Japanese rolled egg. You won’t taste much of the egg as the spicy fish cake overpowers the Japanese omelette., which we’re. being otah lovers, fine with it.
