This July, coffee enthusiasts in Singapore are in for a rare treat.
Toby’s Estate’s flagship café at Robertson Quay will debut its first-ever Coffee Omakase experience—a curated tasting journey spotlighting the finesse, flavour, and craftsmanship behind speciality coffee.
Following its success at Toby’s Estate Melbourne, where it captivated both seasoned baristas and passionate drinkers, this immersive experience will now make its way to Singapore for a limited two-day engagement on 19 and 20 July 2025. With 45-minute sessions running between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., guests can book a slot that fits seamlessly into their weekend schedule.
Dan Bottesini, a decorated barista and the reigning Queensland Brewers Cup Champion, will lead the sessions. Guests will be taken through expertly selected brews, each highlighting the intricate artistry of sourcing, processing, and roasting.
Expect to explore offerings like the Barista’s Breakfast (S$22++), a dual presentation of a single-origin coffee served as espresso and milk-based, showcasing how the preparation method transforms flavour.
For a chilled, more refined taste, the Toby’s Freezer Duo (S$35++) features two naturally processed cold coffees to emphasise clarity and complexity.
Every element of the omakase is crafted to push the boundaries of what coffee can be, allowing guests to deepen their appreciation for each origin’s character and the skill involved in every cup.
This initiative signals a new direction for Toby’s Estate in Singapore: from café to experience-driven curator. It also follows international recognition, with Toby’s Estate recently crowned the World’s Number One Coffee Shop at the inaugural World’s 100 Best Coffee Shops Gala in Madrid.
In the lead-up to the omakase weekend, Toby’s Estate will also showcase at the Excellence in Foodservice Trade Show (16–18 July) at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre. Attendees can sample the coffees that have helped shape the brand’s reputation for innovation and quality.
