This Tauhu Goreng dish will have your mouth watering
This delicious recipe is a great way to serve tau kwa or fried bean curd.
INGREDIENTS
• 1 packet Unicurd Black Soybean Tau Kwa, cut into bite-sized cubes
• 80g long beans, blanched lightly in salted water for 1 min
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 10 curry leaves Sweet Chilli Kecap Manis
• 1 tablespoon minced garlic
• 2 red shallots cut to small dice
• 1 sliced red chilli
• 1 tablespoon toasted ground dried shrimp
• 7 tablespoons sweet thick kecap manis (sweet soy sauce)
• 3 tablespoons fried shallots
Garnish
• 1 tablespoon fried shallots
METHOD
1. Heat up a non-stick pan with olive oil until it is hot. Lightly fry the tau kwa (fried bean curd) to a light, crispy texture and set aside.
2. Using the same non-stick pan, fry the red shallots, curry leaves and garlic until fragrant.
3. Add the dried shrimp, sliced red chilli and kecap manis (sweet soy sauce).
4. Add long beans, fried shallots and tau kwa. Season to taste.
5. Serve hot with rice and garnish with more fried shallots.
