This Rice Dumpling Stuffed with Glazed Teriyaki in Lotus Leaf is a unique take on the familiar bak chang.
The Glazed Teriyaki from CP’s range of frozen food is perfect to make this quick yet wholesome meal.
Ingredients
- 2 packs CP Glazed Teriyaki
- 2 cups (360g) Glutinous rice (soaked overnight)
- 50g Onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1 cup (240ml) Chicken stock
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- ½ tsp Dark soy sauce
- ½ tsp Sugar
- 1 Lotus leaf
Method
- Heat up the wok. Add oil and chopped onions.
- Cook the onions until softened and then add soaked glutinous rice, chicken stock and all the seasoning. Let it cook for a few minutes.
- Cut the lotus leaf until about 10 inches in length.
- Scoop about 2 tbsp of glutinous rice and fill it with 2 tbsp of CP Teriyaki Chicken, and top with it glutinous rice again, then wrap the lotus leaf.
- Bring it to steam and leave it for about 30 to 40 minutes.
