In this humid weather, we all need a cool drink. Try this recipe to feel refreshed

This Chinese New Year, impress your friends and family with this homemade dairy drink that’s not too heavy on the calories.

Instead of the standard packet soft drinks, wash all those new year cookies down with this 3-Melon Punch recipe.

This recipe is quick, easy and also tasty.

Ingredients

  • 1 litre Greenfields Full Cream Milk
  • 100ml strawberry syrup
  • 1kg seedless watermelon
  • 1kg honeydew melon
  • 1kg rockmelon or cantaloupe
  • Some ice cubes

DIRECTIONS

  1. Carve the fruits using a melon-baller, into the punch bowl.
  2. Pour in the milk and the syrup.
  3. Stir gently until well mixed.
  4. Add ice cubes as a cooler or put aside in the chiller.
  5. Adjust the sweetness by adding syrup or milk.

Note: Using low-fat or skimmed milk may reduce the sweetness. Tasting adjustment is necessary to get the balance of the flavour.
