Recipe: Honey Miso Salmon by Asian Food Channel

Here’s a quick and easy recipe for a Japanese take on a salmon dish

Ingredients

Serves 4 people

  • 900 g skinless salmon fillet
    Rinsed and patted dry
  • ½ cup honey
  • 2 Tbsp lime juice
  • 2 Tbsp red miso
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 5 large cloves garlic
    Grated
  • 3 stalks spring onions
  • 3 lemons
    Halved
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper
    To taste

Step 2 – Cook salmon

  • Place salmon on a baking tray lined with baking paper, and coat salmon with the sauce.
  • Bake salmon in the oven for 12-15 minutes, depending on thickness for a medium-rare doneness.
  • Remove the salmon from oven, brush with more sauce and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes.
