Bringing the love of smoked meats all the way from their humble beginnings at Yishun Ring Road to Purvis Street is Noods & Meats—a premiere smoked meat atelier.
All of their smoked meats are smoked for a minimum of 12-hours, using specially-imported Dyna-Glo smokers from the USA—giving the meats an interestingly unique and intense flavour, which then complements the dishes that they are featured in.
They’ve also brought over some crowd-favourites from their Yishun Ring hawker stall, such as the Texas Brisket ($28.90)—featuring beef brisket that has been smoked for 12 hours and served with side dishes; the Lambnara ($16.90)—handmade noodles tossed with creamy egg sauce, smoked & shredded lamb ribs, and topped with a sous vide egg; and Burnt Ends ($14.90)—smoked beef brisket ends, chopped & served with their secret sauce, smashed tomato confit and Thai asparagus in a chickpea burger bun.
For those who prefer something on the lighter side, go for the Torpedo Barramundi ($32.90), featuring a whole Barramundi fish, seasoned and breaded with flour before being flash fried to perfection, and served alongside handmade sriracha tartare and your choice of two side dishes.
Vegetarians fret not! The Smoked Truffle Noods ($17.90) features handmade
truffle-infused noodles, tossed in a medley of smoked mushrooms, truffle jus, topped off with sous vide egg, and shaved Grana Padano cheese. Another option is the dishes; Smoked Tanduk ($21.90)—a vegetarian dish made up of smoked plantains and red banana, grilled and served with their spicy secret sambal kicap and mushroom broth.
