Alegria has opened its doors in the vibrant district of Keong Saik. Hailing from one of the hottest dining spots in Manilla, Philippines, Alegria is a restaurant and bar concept by Grupo Alegria, specialising in non-traditional Latin American cuisine with Asian and European influences, the brainchild of 31-year-old founder and head chef, Charles Montanez.
A speciality at Alegria is their Tacos, with rich flavours that draw inspiration from across the globe. Served solo (S$8/S$10) with hand-rolled tortillas made in-house, there are five varieties, each carrying distinctive flavours of cuisines across the world – Koreana (Korea), Japonesa (Japan), Barbacoa (Singapore), Sisig (Philippines) and Bruxelas (Brussels). Other dishes to look forward to including Duck Inasal (S$35), Cauliflower Barbacoa (S$29) and more.
Alegria is located at 18 Teck Lim Road, Singapore 088390.
