Rempapa comes from ‘rempah’, Malay for ‘spice paste’. This is the aromatic seasoning at the base of all Singaporean ethnic cuisines. While ‘papa’, is in honour of Chef Damian’s reputation as ‘the grandfather of heritage cuisine’. It is a new all-day-dining restaurant, offering Breakfast/Brunch, Lunch, Afternoon Tea, Bar Snacks, Drinks and Dinner.
In addition to the treasure trove of multi-cultural heritage recipes, Chef Damian presents for the first time his ‘Singapore New Heritage Cuisine’. He brings to the table the distinct flavour profiles designed to intrigue and engage today’s palate of the young.
The highlights include Sri Lankan Chicken Curry & Tomato Chutney with String Hoppers, Seafood Curry Mee and Seafood Bee Hoon.
