3. The Brewing Ground
The Brewing Ground, Singapore’s newest kid on the block has launched, providing a breath of fresh air to the East Coast Plan and the city’s cafe scene. Located in the tranquil grounds of the old Telok Kurau Primary School, The Brewing Ground was conceived as space where communities can come together to explore stories and where ideas are brewed.
Their brunch signatures include Burrata & Tomatoes Tartine, served on sourdough with caramelized onions, marinated cherry tomatoes, almond flakes and balsamic glaze. The Breakfast Burger is not what you will normally expect of a burger. Bringing back a certain nostalgia to childhood memories, the burger features a thick homemade pork sausage patty, silky scrambled eggs and served with caramelized onions, cheddar, ketchup-mayo in between artisanal brioche buns.
From the Inka oven, meats are grilled over charcoal & firewoods such as apple & hickory wood to enhance the flavour profile and of course a good char. Sharing plates include the Grain Fed Angus Striploin MB2+ and Iberico Pork Ribs.
