5. Swissbake Limited Edition Flavours
In celebration of Singapore’s 56th birthday, the Halal-certified bakery Swissbake presents two limited edition bread flavours – Gula Melaka Toast and Country Milk Toast – inspired from favourite local flavours and created with the finest ingredients. The breads are available only from now to 30 September 2021 at selected islandwide supermarkets.
The Gula Melaka Toast (S$5.90+) features premium gula melaka from Indonesia that presents a deep caramel flavour with a soft yet dense texture while the Country Milk Toast (S$4.90+) is an elevated take on the classic milk bread recipe, providing a soft but sturdy structure and a milky-sweet flavour that’s more prominent when consumed on its own. It complements stronger-flavoured items like scrambled eggs and cold cuts.
The breads are available only from 26 July to 30 September 2021 at selected islandwide supermarkets.
