Conquer all of your favourite hawker centres without the sweat and tears of walking

Have you ever wanted to hit multiple hawker centres to fulfill all your mad cravings in one shot – only to find the hot sun draining your drive?
Soon, you can hop on this bus and hop off at popular hawker centres for an unlimited number of times a day. The upcoming Makan Bus, which will launch on 26 Aug, will take passengers from the main pickup point at Orchard Gateway to 10 hawker centre hotspots around Singapore.
These include heartland areas like Balestier, Thomson and Ang Mo Kio. The interval between each bus is about 20 minutes, and here are the stops and pick-up points:
In conjunction with the official launch, passengers can also purchase a Makan Bus ticket bundled with a StarHub Prepaid SIM card, with $18 worth of credits and a free local data plan.
That may prove more useful for travellers, but locals, heads up: This SIM card can also be used in eight other countries including Malaysia and Thailand, with no data roaming fees.
