For the first time, there is a German-style radler with a local brew
A new German-style beer beverage with a local brew has been launched in Singapore and Asia.
Tiger’s new Radler combines Tiger beer and natural lemon juice, offering double the refreshment for beer or alcoholic beverage lovers.
The Tiger Radler is a thirst-quencher with a brand new taste that is fruity and sharp while, at the same time, being rooted in a rich, flavourful brew. The Radler is suitable for all occasions and types of food.
German Origin
The “radler”, which means “cyclist” in German, is said to have been invented by Franz Xaver Kugler in June 1922 when some 13,000 cyclists unexpectedly visited his pub.
To prevent his bar from running dry, he added lemon juice to the beer and the radler was born.
Where to Find Tiger Radler
This December, beer and alcoholic beverage fans will have the opportunity to sample this new beer variant through a “Double Refreshment Wheel” at a Tiger pop-up bar.
The Double Refreshment Wheel provides fans with limited edition premiums, ranging from tote bags to notebooks, together with a refreshing Tiger Radler. The pop-up bar will next be at One Raffles Place from Dec 11 to 13, 11am to 7pm.
Tiger Radler is available in both cans and bottles at leading retailers, from supermarkets to convenience stores, restaurants, pubs and clubs.
