The Queen of Desserts will be venturing into creative dim sum

Fans of Janice Wong’s imaginative desserts will be pleased to know that her full-fledge restaurant at the National Museum of Singapore will open on 17 Aug.
As a trailblazer in the culinary scene, she is known for blurring the boundaries between sweet and savoury, as well as crafting the edible into pitch-perfect works of art.
Currently, the two-time winner of the San Pellegrino Asia’s Best Pastry Chef (2013 and 2014) helms 2am: dessertbar in Holland Village where popular desserts like Chocolate Tart and Cassis Plum are served.
Her new flagship Janice Wong Singapore restaurant will see a largely savoury menu of dim sum and noodles, based on her book Dim Sum: A Flour-Forward Approach To Traditional Favorites And Contemporary Creations (2013).
