Now in its 11th edition, DiningCity’s Singapore Restaurant Week has grown to encompass more than 100 of Singapore’s most celebrated restaurants.

Offering week-long dining deals, Restaurant Week allows foodies to be truly spoilt for choice with great dining choices, at better prices.

Exclusive Three-Course Menus

This time, Restaurant Week will be held from Oct 24 to Nov 1, and participating restaurants will offer exclusive three-course menus for both lunch and dinner (priced at $25++ and $35++ respectively). Do note, DiningCity Star-awarded restaurants will charge a supplement of $15++ for lunch and $20++ for dinner.

Under the overarching theme of “Sinfully Delectable”, you’ll be able to enjoy the best of Singapore’s culinary offerings, featuring seasonal produce. So, sin I did, as I let my gluttony loose at the preview of some of these participating restaurants.

Quality Cuisine to Delight Foodies

One of the more noteworthy restaurants was Violet Herbs, a Modern European restaurant inspired by Asian flavours.

I tried the Roasted Red Snapper with Almond Crust, Summer Mushroom and Crustacean Bisque. My tongue was delighted at how fresh the red snapper tasted, as well as its crisp skin.

For dessert, we were chauffeured via Audi cars to Kuvo, a hidden gem of a restaurant inside Orchard Shopping Centre. The multi-concept dining establishment served an aesthetically-pleasing Rum Cocoa Mousse Bar. With rum-soaked raisins embedded within the mousse, it was a lovely surprise with every bite.

Dining for Charity

Diners will be pleased to know that this edition of Restaurant Week is setting a target of raising $100,000 for The Food Bank Singapore, a registered charity that collects surplus food to be redistributed to organisations and people in need of food.

Participating restaurants will donate up to $2 per bill, until the fund-raising target is met.
