It’s craft beer heaven here at The Guild – the latest and possibly now the hippest culinary hangout to have joined the Keong Saik district. Night revellers on the prowl can imbibe on an exhaustive range of craft beers from Hong Kong brewery Young Masters such as Another One 再來 (from $8) and rotating variants like the tart Days of Being Wild brewed with dried cherries (from $12). Because drinking on an empty stomach is unwise, the restaurant-bar serves up hearty nosh including the deep-fried General Tso’s Frog Legs ($14), the dry-rubbed BBQ Skate ($32), and the Umamiwürst ($22) – a shitake pork shoulder bratwurst served with with homemade sauerkraut and XO mustard. A must-order though is The Guild’s signature Mac n’ Cheese ($18).
