The modern Chinese tapas restaurant sits on the upper floor of The Riverhouse, and aptly named ‘secret’in Mandarin. It brings to life the enchantingly melodious blend of tradition and modernity. Guests who enjoy a bite from each selection – a modern chinese concept offering over 40 sharing plates. Each plate is well-presented and carefully curated showcasing intriguing flavours from Sichuan, Shanghainese, Cantonese, and Mongolian cuisine. Though modern, Mimi retains culture and heritage through its walls and grandiose interior.
An Insta-worthy dish from Mimi is the Garden of Mushrooms ($15). Resembling shiitake mushrooms, this fun creation comprises disguises handmade char siew baos as mushrooms in a bed of cocoa poweder mimicking soil. This dish is a savoury-sweet surprise. It’s their “mimi” but we can’t resist sharing.
