Evoke Nostalgia With These 4 Dishes From Sinpopo

Savour the taste of home with modernised local favourites

Started in 2014, Sinpopo could be considered one of the forerunners of creative mod-sin (Modern Singaporean) food, at least for the cafe scene.

Think local desserts and chendol inevitably comes to mind. At Sinpopo, this crowd pleaser is recreated in a modern and incredibly photogenic parfait.

There’s a smooth and creamy scoop of freshly churned coconut ice-cream, paired with atap chee, homemade Gula Melaka agar agar and gula melaka sauce.

While some might find this a little too sweet, we found ourselves going at it till there was no more.
