Join Cloudy Bay on a delicious duck trail, around the finest restaurants in town
From Aug 1 to Sep 30, 12 of Singapore’s finest restaurants will be hosting the Cloudy Bay Pinot & Duck trail, each serving their specially-created duck dish paired with a glass of 2011 Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir, for diners to savour.
Originating from New Zealand
The practice started two years ago in New Zealand. Cloudy Bay winemaker Nick Lane shares this tasting note.
“Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir 2011 boasts immense floral notes including violets, boronia and flowering wild thyme; wild strawberry, dark cherries and spice, balanced with rich forest floor, clove and savoury flavours, making it the perfect accompaniment for duck,” he says.
The Participating restaurants include Mezza9, Man Fu Yuan, Yan Ting, Punjab Grill, Stellar as well as Golden Peony, all serving their version of duck accompanied with a glass of Cloudy Bay.
Savour dishes such as Classic Rotisserie Duck, Tandoori Duck and Oven-Baked Thin Crust Roast Duck Pizza. Your palate is sure to be pleased by both duck and the pinot noir.
Prices at the restaurants range from $35++ to $190++. Bookings are required for the respective restaurants.
