Australian small batch gin distillery Four Pillars debuts in select bars in Singapore
Who would have thought a distillery-producing, award-winning gin would have its humble beginning from a crowd-funding website?
Four Pillars is the brainchild of Stuart Gregor, Cameron Mackenzie, and Matt Jones from Yarra Valley. They ran a month-long Pozible crowd-funding effort, and within four days, the target of $10,000 was surpassed with 228 supporters pledging just over $30,000. They snapped up all 420 bottles of the first batch.
Aussie Ingredients in Gin
The Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin features ten botanicals: juniper berries, coriander seeds, cardamom pods, lemon myrtle, Tasmanian pepper berry leaf, cinnamon, lavender, angelica, star anise, and fresh oranges. The result is a potent and fragrant gin that is perfect for a Negroni cocktail.
So far, bars such as Tippling Club and Moosehead have brought them in.
