How did you go about creating the Masterpiece collection for BreadTalk? Why were you inspired by these particular local flavours?
Understanding the local market is key. During my last trip to Singapore, the BreadTalk team brought me around to help me understand the local ingredients, flavour and culture.
When I returned to Taiwan, I wanted to use flavours that every Singaporean would find familiar, so it was great to be able to tap into the local insight that has made BreadTalk one of the leading bakery brands in Singapore, as well as its team of R&D masterchefs, when I was building the recipes.
