8 Must-Visit Food Stalls At This Year’s Geylang Serai Bazaar

Indulge in melt-in-your-mouth 'rainbow planet' ice cream, deep-fried red velvet oreos and crispy chicken sticks

When it comes to feasting during cultural festivities, Singaporeans do it best.

And what better way to kick off the Hari Raya revelry than by embarking on a culinary adventure at the Geylang Serai Bazaar?

Last year, enterprising stall owners gave bazaar-goers a taste of treats that were a nod to viral food trends like rainbow bagels, pastel coloured puddings, cotton candy soft serve and more.

From now till 24 June, the bazaar returns with over 1,000 stalls stretching across the Geylang Serai Market, Joo Chiat Complex and Haig Road.

Here are eight food stalls to check out:

Goreng Pisang (frittered banana) tastes good on its own, but what if chocolate, crushed Oreos and cheese were added?

Pisang Melokek places a spin on the classic Malay treat by adding sweet and savoury condiments.

If you’re adventurous enough, why not combine all the toppings together for the ultimate dessert? The stall also serves a side of chili kicap (chilli sauce) upon request.
