"Don Don Don... Donki~"
That annoyingly repetitive, yet exciting chorus welcomes us as we enter Don Don Donki on a swelteringly hot afternoon. Looking for something to refresh us, we headed towards the chilled drinks section and we were greeted by over 20 drink choices for us to choose— from yogurt-flavoured water to brightly coloured melon soda. We were in soda heaven!

3. Clear Matcha & Milk, Asahi – $2.90
“I was honestly quite sceptical, but the taste reminded me of extremely diluted matcha latte. They absolutely nailed it for the flavours though. This is indeed a unique drink, but would I buy it again? Hmm… maybe. Kinda makes me think about the artificial flavouring that goes into your food, but then again, I would buy it solely for the novelty value.” – Olivia
