Themed "Savour Singapore in Every Bite", the 24th edition of Singapore Food Festival (SFF) returns with gusto from 14 to 30 July.

This year, the festival will pay tribute to our multi-faceted local food scene, as well as honour the talented individuals who have worked tirelessly to place Singapore at the cutting-edge of the culinary realm.

Here are seven events to look out for:

3. The 50 Cents Fest: Those Years

The roaring ’80s makes a return with the 50 Cents Fest taking place on the 29 & 30 July from 11am to 11pm.

Themed Those Years, the festival offers a whole plethora of hawker favourites from the 1980s, such as Abacus Seeds, Cantonese Paper-Wrapped Chicken and Ice Balls, at prices starting as low as 50 cents.

To fully immerse you in this era, nostalgic forms of entertainment such as live Xin Yao performances and old school games of hopscotch and fishing fountain will keep you occupied till nightfall.
