If the skyscrapin' Salt & Sky Bar makes the perfect dining spot for romancing love birds, then its sister restaurant Salt Tapas & Bar is a choice hangout for group dining.

With newly appointed Head Chef Jake Kowalewski on board, the eatery looks set to reinvent its modern Australian styled tapas all over again.

Departing slightly from its previous focus on seafood, the new menu offers a good selection of prime cuts, greens and even Spanish-style cuisine.

Here are our top 5 must-tries:

4. Wagyu Rump Cap

Love steak? Salt Tapas & Bar does a wonderful Wagyu Rump Cap — classic Australian style with minimal garnish.

Seared till pink in the middle and served with a green chimichurri, the richness of the steak was well complemented by fresh and juicy tomatoes.

My only gripe had to be the morsels of sourdough bread croutons, which were served in overly large chunks.
