Believing that customers deserve the highest quality food and impeccable service, late founder, Mr Lawrence Frank, designed the famed “Silver Carts” so that the Signature Prime Rib Roast Beef could be carved at tableside. The very first two carts, of which are still in use today, made up 20% of the restaurant’s initial capital investment. The first Silver Cart cost as much as a Cadillac in 1938.
The medallion-wearing chefs wheel out silver carts containing prime quality Signature Roasted Prime Rib of Beef and skilfully carve them in front of customers. The Carvers undergo 6 months of rigorous training to achieve the status of a master carver.
Other items on the menu which are prepared tableside include The Crepe Suzette and the Famous Original Spinning Bowl Salad.
