7. Seng Kee Black Chicken Herbal Soup 

It is not every day when you have black chicken for lunch or dinner, let alone supper. But if you are intending to give the relatively unhealthy prata or bar chor mee a miss, then you may want to consider coming to Seng kee to have some of its famous herbal soups. The highly-raved Black Chicken Herbal Soup ($15) does not come with complimentary refills so we advise you to take your time when it comes to slurping up all of its goodness. Brewed in a pot of Wolfberries, Chinese yam and a mix of other Chinese Herbs, this is one bowl oof soup that is slated to do the body a lot of good. Despite its unusually black appearance, each bowl packs a lot of nutrients and promises to be a nourishing supplement. Sink your teeth into the soft chicken flesh to take your mind of the subtle bitterness of the soup. If you are a fan of pig innards, you may consider having the also highly-rated Pig Organ Mee Sua ($5).
