10 Supper Spots That You Didn’t Know Are Worth The Midnight Drive Out

Late night hunger pangs are always easily satisfied here in Singapore

While staying up late or going to bed on a full stomach are usually frowned upon, there is no denying that the supper culture in Singapore is well and truly alive. And aside from just stuffing yourself with late night goodies, suppertime is also a recreational activity that involves getting together with your bffs to catch up over a hot meal. In our list, we considerately left out the predictable places such as Spize, Al-Azhar, Swee Choon and Chomp Chomp Food Centre, and included in other lesser-known eateries that you can rely on as your  go-to supper spot.

While night owls flock to Jalan Besar to have their Dim Sum cravings fixed at Swee Choon, there is another Dim Sum hotspot along Sims Avenue. 126 Dim Sum Wen Dao Shi serves up yummy plates of the Hong Kong delicacy at reasonable prices too. Despite its simple, non-descript storefront, the store’s furnishing aids to the overall dining ambience. Stepping into 126 almost feels akin to being in one of those street Dim Sum stores you would find in Hong Kong. While most budget dim sum places have repetitive menus, 126 does some of its dim sum dishes differently. Be sure to try the Fried Carrot Cake ($4).
