9. 7-Eleven’s New Limited-Edition Premium Onigiris
Singapore’s favourite convenience store has rolled out a new range of yummy and ready-to-eat Chinese New Year onigiris featuring some of Singapore’s favourite seafood.
First up, the Prosperous Grilled Mentaiko Salmon Onigiri makes its name as the first grilled onigiri in Singapore. Next, with generous fillings of dried scallops and shrimp, the Fortune XO Fried Rice Onigiri will be a favourite among those who love the fragrance of Japanese short-grain rice cooked with special traditional (homemade) XO sauce.
Lastly, the most surprising onigiri of three new ones goes to the Abundance Wasabi Tako Onigiri, a tasty combination of refreshing wasabi mayonnaise and octopus with a bite.
The Onigiris are available at $2.50 for one, $4.50 for two in selected 7-Eleven stores from now till 29 Feb 2020.
