Apple is finally unveiling a red iPhone, befitting of its fruit namesake.
But the release isn’t solely for vanity reasons, in case you’re wondering.
In recognition of its decade-long partnership with (RED), Apple will be launching iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in a special RED edition.
If you need a reason to get your hands on it — know that 100 per cent of all money raised by RED will go directly to Global Fund HIV/AIDS grants.
For the uninitiated, RED’s critical work provides access to life-saving HIV/AIDS programs in sub-Saharan Africa, which is home to more than two thirds of the world’s HIV-positive population.
Plus, you can’t ignore the fact that these sleek, red iPhones do look strikingly gorgeous.
The special RED iPhones will be available to order (from $1218) online worldwide and in stores from 24 Mar.
