Finding good churros in Singapore is almost impossible. Movie-stand churros are disgustingly stale and most restaurants here do
a sub-par job of it.

Churrosity saw a hole to fill and started up their fresh-made churros stand.

Located in a small corner of Holland Village, Churrosity came about when four friends including stall manager Jaime decided to put their love for travelling and churros together to bring the taste of authentic churros to Singaporeans.

Jaime says, “We could never find churros in Singapore. The four of us love travelling to the United States and Spain, thus we’ve found a good balance between the churros found in both places and started up Churrosity to let Singaporeans have a taste.”

She says that the churros in the USA are more dry than the doughier Spanish ones.

They shortened the churro from 15 inches to a more palatable 10 inches ($2.50), and make them from scratch every day. It shows in the crisp outside and soft chewy inside.

We also love the bite-sized churros ($3.20-$4.90) that come with a dipping sauce of choice such as chocolate, strawberry and dulce de leche.

Churrosity goes through at least “five to six” batches of dough a day. “We have a good mix of expats and locals (being in Holland Village); we get a Spanish teacher that buys churros from us to teach her students about Spanish food. She says that it is much easier than making it herself for her class!” says Jaime.

Their frappes ($4.50-$5.20) have novel flavours such as red velvet, brownie chip and Good Morning – banana, caramel and caramelised ginger biscuit. Churrosity also has stuffed churros ($2.90).
